National Broadcasting Commission of Nigeria in its bid to sanitized the Nigeria music industry and position it to preach love, morals and educate the listening public on issues of concern, has placed a ban on12 Nigerian wave making songs and has ordered the songs neither be aired on TV or played on radio stations.

The reasons for the ban are that, they contain lewd lyrics, obscene videos and also violent messages.

Little wonder, street music crooner, Olamide’s songs made the list. Three of his hit songs was listed by the commission.

Below is the list of banned songs

2) Reminisce – ‘Tesojue’

3) Naeto C – ‘Tony Montana’ ft D’banj

4) Phyno – ‘Yayo’

5) Masterkraft – ‘Indomie’ ft CDQ,. Olamide

6) Wizkid – ‘In my bed’

7) Iyanya – ‘Gift’ ft Don Jazzy

8) Lil Kesh – ‘Gbese’

9) May D – ‘Ibadi’

10) Olamide – Bobo

11) Olamide – ‘Falila Ketan’
