Boko Haram Takfiri militants have recaptured a strategic town in Nigeria’s northeastern state of Borno. Officials say Marte has completely fallen under the militants’ control. The town located along a trading route between Nigeria and neighboring Cameron and Chad has been traded several times between government forces and the militants since 20-13. Earlier, the terrorists killed at least 55 people during attacks on two villages near the city of Maiduguri. The Nigerian army managed to repel the assaults. The army also imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew on the city in the wake of the deadly attacks.
