Although the ear 2015 will be very challenging for Nigeria, the country will not break up as has being predicted.
This was the position of President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Jubilee World Festival of Word of Life Bible Church in Warri.
The CAN president maintained that nothing can break the country, saying anyone with such plans will not succeed.
Governor Uduaghan, on his part, said: “No matter the external influence, Nigeria will remain united. There are predictions that Nigeria will break up in 2015, that will not happen. 2015 is going to be a challenging year, a lot of things will happen, but we shall overcome.”
Uduaghan noted that Nigerians have resolved to remain united, commending CAN president and the Word of Life Bible Church for the event which attracted religious leaders from various parts of the world.
He said: “Papa is the father of all Christians in Nigeria and this fatherhood is one of the most stressful, as he has to protect Christians in Nigeria against those who do not wish us well. We have never experienced what we are passing through today, so we should be on our knees and pray fervently for the CAN president.”
